Sofocles is surprised to discover that the Pokémon he found is a Celesteela, and they decide to return it home. Attempts to capture it in a Beast Ball prove unsuccessful, as it is well-rooted. Team Rocket tries to capture Celesteela while the Ultra Guardians attempt to protect it, and Team Rocket is nearly incinerated when Celesteela begins to launch. After the Ultra Guardians create a safe launch area, they watch as Celesteela flies home.
